New Bricks
Right now I got the right stuff. Two bricks for the pot to sit on and two paving slabs for the burner to sit on. Turns out the side bricks is level with the tips of the burner. Cost $4.47 for the side bricks and $1.78 for the paving slabs.

I have acquired a couple of cinder blocks after seeing your pics - question though, do you have any concerns about them cracking (or even exploding) if they get too hot??

Nah not at all bro, I put one of them straight onto the flames and they suck it up.
