Yea just be careful they don't bounce very well ;-) I've gone through 3 already, so I got myself a refractometer for $40 just 2 days ago, wikid

 I used to have a glass one when I first got into brewing but it is long gone now I think, that was over 20 years ago, only got back into it a few months back and had to start from scratch.

yeah sorry, I was referring to Sandra Bullock from the movie 'Gravity' and I called her Buttock as they called her that when she was on the Muppet show some years back.
