That looks sweet - is this for a standard keg mash tun?  Your deck view always blows me away too - what a place to enjoy the fruits of your brewing labour!

That particular one is for a 65 litre pot based tun.

Cheers dont worry the view isnt the only thing that will blow people away on my deck - a nor wester has a habit of blowing furniture, children and pets off or over!

Classic - so your deck has a 'minimum weight' for outside use rather thatn the more usual maximum.  Have you made up some sort of die to stamp/press these out, or do you make them by hand?

looks cool Chris, whats the diameter, It might fit my round cooler too, then when I upgrade to the Keg Mash tun, and I swap it over.

These falsies are made by hand and formed in my tooling which gives me the option to make a large variety of sizes to suit nearly any size tun/kettle that said its not very economical for me to tool up to make one offs.

So I am hoping the more common sizes will prevail.

So far I have done tooling for 310mm 410mm 460mm 550mm.

With the keg type tuns the size really boils down to what will fit through the hole cut in the top but about 380mm

would be nice.
