Homebrewing course for those wanting to lean more without the high cost

Hi Brewers,

There are many reasons you would like to enhance your brewing knowledge, the most obvious being to improve your skills to produce better beer using better brewing techniques, and to do it consistently.

So why have I designed this 5 day course. Simply to give you a jam packed, boot camp type of knowledge and practice that is hard to find anywhere else. You will be led by a real brewer who has over 25 years of experience in commercial, microbrewing and homebrewing environment. As well as that, the facilitator is qualified as a research scientist so he will explain simply the laboratory and tasting techniques that are an integral part of brewing, which without simply leads to compromise when you brew.

In essence you will see why the 25 years of experience, distilled into this step-by-step 5 day course, is invaluable to you in your homebrewing. The course really culminates in the Brew day which will demonstrate the theory into action. You will see why it is important to do the things necessary to getting a perfect craft beer.

So you may have started homebrewing because you wanted to save cost on beer but most likely because you wanted to create your own tasty beer that you are proud of. If your beer is not quite right then bring your beer to the course and you will get a personal evaluation and what to do about it.

And this course is designed to be low cost without compromising on content. Save 50% on similar 5 day courses. In fact you'll probably get more out of this course as I have a session on beer clarity and stabilisation in which I worked as an expert for Fosters for 10 years.

This course is also suitable for those wanting to start their own microbrewery or anyone working in the industry wanting to get a better overview of brewing.

The course is to run at Hallertau Brewery, Auckland from 29th October to 2nd November , 2011

Thanks, looks good :)

Hi Home Brewers,

It seems from some of the posts that doing a University brewing course can leave some of you with a hole in your pocket. But to be fair courses like this can deliver a greater understanding of brewing that will far outway any other type of training you may be thinking of. And most importantly you will be brewing beer of exceptional quality and consistency which is well worth it.

However, if you are worried about the cost I can provide a much lower alternative (NZ$1300) but add my personal experience as a professional brewer and laboratory scientist. I will explain in a simple step by step fashion which will have you brewing great beer both you and your friends will enjoy!

My course will run late October for 5 days at the Hallertau brewery and included you will be able to spend a day brewing with the brewer on site as well as with me.

But don't take my word for it. Check out what Craig said at the Melbourne course;

“ Thank-you very much for the brewers course on 12-16th March 2011. It was packed with tricks of the trade to not only help me brew my perfect drop but also help me with my dream of one day starting up my very own micro brewery. All the best ”

– Craig, (23/03/11)

The course is proving popular and is steadily filling and will fill ahead of time.

So enrol soon to secure your spot.

Regards,

Vincent
