Great Beers and Great Food

Costanzo Brewing and Short Courses

The Good Beer Week in Melbourne is all about beer and the celebration of the amber nectar and more. Paul Hogan coined the term the Amber Nectar when referring to Fosters in commercials of some 2 decades ago.

But a lot has happened since then and there is now an explosion of choices in beer to out rival even wine in flavours available to the discerning drinker. And beer choices are still growing with no end in sight.

The Good beer Week is testament to that diversity and continually growing popularity.

This is what the organiser’s website says of what’s on;

In the …..”Good Beer Week …….. you will find everything you need to know about the 200 events and 160 venues that make up Australia’s biggest annual celebration of the best of the local and international beer world………….discover which Australian and international brewers are coming to play, and plan your route through what has been tagged “the best beer week in the world”. As the festival approaches, you will even be able to check the latest tap lineups at many of our showcase venues”.

The categories this year are:

  1. Foodie
  2. Good Times
  3. Beer 101
  4. Beer Geek
  5. Beer Lover
  6. Country Vic
  7. Pint of Origin

Once again Costanzo Brewing is participating in this event and is proud to announce the short brewing courses held at the Vibe Hotel in Carlton (Melbourne, Australia) for the first time.

We are also incorporating a special event this year into the Masterbrew course. We will be holding a brew day at Temple Brewery with great food and beer. The brew that will be produced will be a special collaboration between Temple brewing and the Benedictine Weihenstephan Abbey, founded 725 AD, (which established the oldest still operating brewery in the world (1040)  from Germany).
There are definitely limited numbers to this and a truly unique lifetime opportunity to seeing this collaboration with the oldest brewery still operating in the world! Frank is the head brewer of Weinenstephan and heads some 35 brewers in Germany.Join us on the course and you will get complimentary entry (worth $129) to this unique event. You will see the brew in progress and talk to Frank during the brewing of a yet to be revealed secret brew. Lunch is included and even includes a return 3 weeks later to sample the finished beer with more great food. This is outstanding value!

This will be available only to the first 9 people who book the Masterbrew course (3 people have already booked so don’t wait one day more). Last year this course was a sellout.

So make the effort, wherever you are in Australasia, and book for the Masterbrew course. If you are travelling from afar and you book your accommodation with the Vibe Hotel (which incidentally is generously discounted for students only at the course) you will also receive complimentary the one day “Brewing Essentials course” (worth $450) and a free brewing book (worth $40). So, with this accommodation, you will save upwards of $800 for this package. All because you attend the Masterbrew Course and stay at the Vibe Hotel. Just book the “All-Inclusive ” package by first booking your accommodation at The Vibe Hotel, and take advantage of this once only opportunity.Local participants (that do not require accommodation) still are eligible for the silver or gold package and also eligible for the Temple-Weinenstephan experience.
P.S. So be one of the “first in, best dressed”. This is the best value brewing package anywhere this year and simple can’t be repeated anywhere else or anytime else. Remember that this particular course was a sellout last year without this package deal. But this year It includes all these extra freebies including the special brew day at Temple with Weihenstephan.

Book Now, and save yourself a front row seat at the best value brewing course in Australasia.

And join in for the festivities for a week long fun and events and discover the many flavours of local and International beers in a glass of craft beer at the Good Beer Week.
