An opportunity exists to be involved from the start in an exciting new brewing company being established in Melbourne, Australia.

Reporting to the Business Manager, the role will involve installing and commissioning a new brewery, developing a wide range of beers and being an ambassador for the business, as well as running the day to day operations of the brewery.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage installation and commissioning of new brewery equipment
• Develop a wide range of beers for the Australian and International Market
• Day to Day activities in brewing process
• Monitor beer quality, microbiological control and process control
• Production Planning
• Raw materials sourcing and purchasing
• Ambassador with trade and consumer at festivals and trade calls

Key Attributes
• Minimum 3 years brewing experience
• Microbiology /Quality Control experience
• Experience in developing new beers
• Professional qualifications in brewing
• International beer trends and styles knowledge
• Experience in running microbrewery operation
• Commercial skills in managing a brewery operation
• Ability to interact with consumers and trade

Remuneration package will be in line with experience/qualifications
