Hey mate,
The biggest issue will be clogging the out post of your keg. I used to dry hop that way and it can be a massive pain. Options are to cold condition for a few days as close to 0 as you can without freezing the beer. Or filter on the way out of the fermenter. Or leave it, give it time and it will settle out. Good luck mate, you really want to minimise the hop cludge into the keg.
Yeah that's what I paid, and where I got it from. I think it was like an extra $40 or something like that to get it up to Auckland. I've been very happy with it actually. Easy to clean and great features. It can't take a lot of pressure, but it isn't meant to. Just enough to transfer beer out of it. Liam has been building some cheapish plastic ones which might become available soon - on this thread here.
Hope all is well with you. Brewing has been developing really well here. You having a go at the Belgian Tripel competition coming up? I'm hopeful that I might get one ready in time.
