Good beer in Palmy
Hey everyone,
I'm going to be heading to Palmerston North for a week with a few good mates and I was hoping someone would be able to tell me where we would be able to find a bar or two that sells quality beer? Needs to be central, we won't have the luxury of our own transport!

Hey, try the Celtic. It is down a funny alley close-ish to the big funny square in the middle of the town. A Lion pub as Macs and Guinness were flowing, but Fuller's London Pride was on tap the last time I was there last October. Pretty nice atmosphere regardless. Bonus free Manawatu Standards to read too!
Went to Rosie O'Grady's (on the main drag out to the Uni) too, but this was about a year ago and I think Kea has stopped making their beer...?
There is always the Fitz, but only if you like playing bullrush!
