Where can I get hop plants in Wellington?
Hi there. Does anyone know where I might be able to pick up some hop plants in Wellington for my husband. He'll want to use the hops for brewing and I've heard the plants from garden centres are mainly ornamental. I know little about beer making but I'm looking for plants that are super tasty like nelson sauvin :)

There are about only 4 varieties of hops avalible to us HomeBrewers and there aren't that exciting.
At this time of the year it would be best to some cuttings from a growing plant and pop them into water or damp soil. They usually take off. I grow Danscade at home if you would like to come can grab some cuttings.
