Hi Brian.
This is the first I've heard of the NZ Federation of Amateur Winemakers & Brewers Clubs. Is there anywhere you can point me to for more information about the federation and the participating clubs?

Hi Aarad,

The Federation has affiliated local Clubs around the country as well as affiliations from the 3 Judges Guilds (Northern/Central/Southern) and has been active for decades.

Most major cities / regions have a club although their level of publicity and activity varies.

There might be a number of other clubs out there that fall into some of the geographic gaps in the current affiliate list.
