Hey guys. First time poster. I'm not sure where else to turn as all my searches and queries so far have been for naught.

I bought a six pack of craft beer in Taranaki. It turned out to be one of the best wheat beers I've found in NZ. The problem is I can't seem to remember the brand or find it anywhere in Auckland. It's like the brand doesn't exist. I remember the back of the bottle saying it was made in East Tamaki, and the blurb said it was a group of brewers who were friends (12 I think) that got together to make beer. I think maybe it was called mates? Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Thanks!

EDIT: For spelling as original post was on an ipad.

Sounds like Crafty Beggars "Wheat As".

Made at Lion breweries in East Tamaki.

Same fellas who proudly produce Lion Red.

Yep, that's the one. I gotta say, I feel like I should think its crap because of its brewer, but I actually really liked it.

Good beer is good beer bro... doesn't matter who makes it.

Gotta wonder why it takes 12 brewers to make it though.  I wonder if they look like oompa loompers and sing while they brew?

I tihnk the Ooompa Loompas swim in the wort stream, just like how they swim in the chocolate stream in the Chocolate factory.

i'd lick the wallpaper if i were there
