Wow, that looks like a nice bit of kit... and it seems like you get a whole lot more bang for your buck than a farra or williams-warn. Where do you think that was imported from?

Ask him :) He really doesnt like it when you do, ignores the question :)

It was posted on the previous page about a week or two ago, general consensus was yeah its shiny and all, just way underpowered

Still for what you get for <$4000 - pretty nice brewery setup (albeit only 2 vessel but a lot of people have great success with the Brutus 2.0 concept) and a nice conical (although it could have been better with a 60° cone). The underpowered heating could be solved with buying a double blade element giveing you 4000W that could still be run out of 2x standard 10A sockets. Something like SWE72 or SWE76 from here http://www.seac.co.nz/LiteratureRetrieve.aspx?ID=92474

Just makes me think I need to finish my brewery so I can list it on TM for >$2000 so I can build another better one... but then I'll be setting up an infinate loop of building/selling/building/selling....

Just spotted the Tempercon store on TradeMe (http://www.trademe.co.nz/stores/tempercon) listing magnetic drive (presumably polysulfone) pumps for wort recirculation etc.

Their prices seem on par with what I have seen available on eBay Australia.

Tempercon's website list the case and impellor as glass fiber reinforce polypropylene not Polusulfone.

Stumbled across this http://www.trademe.co.nz/business-farming-industry/businesses-for-s... , Could be a bargain for someone with a bit of coin.

Mind you - it's only for a half-share of an existing business.

2 tier electric/gas setup - http://www.trademe.co.nz/home-living/food-beverage/other/auction-52...

Although I do question the 3 kW element given that it would pull ~12.5 amps which is more than the rating of most standard household sockets (10 amps)

A nice 50L stainless vessel....Very tidy indeed

I am trying to get my head around how to heat it. I am guessing electric elements need to be added.

In the same vein, I am wondering about those welds. They look odd. That could just be the picture though.

Interesting find.

I got 2 of these to take one down to Greig last weekend but I forgot! derp..

Pure oxygen + reg for aeration. Pick up in Mt Eden. Cheers!
