Subject already posted on Forum before I learned of ChCh group. I'm a new member living at Duvauchelle, Banks Peninsula with a newly-bought sack of Gladfield Ale Malt. Can anyone please tell me where I can get single brew quantities crushed locally? Happy to share malt. Alternatively, I'm thinking about buying a BC barley crusher ex US for $NZ 235 and wonder if anyone is interested in sharing cost and ownership?

Hi John,

If you go down to Wigram Breweries (http://www.wigrambrewing.co.nz/) they are pretty good about helping. If you have not bought the grain off them (or even if you have) then it is the done thing to drop in with a couple of bottles of your latest brew for them to try. Hope that helps.

Cheers

Thanks Tom, have decided to buy a crusher.

Regards,

JT.

You can now get mills in NZ here: http://inibrewsupply.com/mill/   If you are in a bind then you can come and use my one (Cashmere), its a bit quake-bent but it still goes!

Thanks for offer Nick, will go with the Inibrew mill.

Regards,

JT.
