Kiwi Collab Brew at Thornbridge Brewery
On 23 April 2009 at Thornbridge Brewery, UK, Luke Nicholas (Kiwi Brewer NZ based, Epic Brewing Company) and Kelly Ryan (Kiwi Brewer UK based, Thornbridge Brewery). brewed a batch of the Thornbridge Halcyon Imperial IPA, which included some New Zealand grown Nelson Sauvin hops, and some Good Water (www.goodwater.org.nz) from New Zealand. The Imperial IPA kiwi styles went well, knocking off the 100 IBU (International Bitterness Units) setting a new record for the Thornbridge Brewery final hop addition of 7.5kg for 1300 litres. It also happened to be the 800th brew for the brewery and was brewed on St Georges Day.

Is that the FE???? Fritha's second cousin is involved in "Goodwater" and he reckons the secret to it is the little bit of brett that they put in each bottle.... (part of this sentence is true, the other half is a good story, wink wink).
