Hey, just added the comments below to my post. I though of you...And, now I am on you site, I see you just got married. Congrats. I know 7 people engaged this year. Madness. When are you moving to Wellington? We shld catch up.

Had some Peak IPA last night and it was bloody awful. Peak now holds the un-envious record of being the old brewery where I have ever sought money back. The IPA smelt like cat food and anchovy with hints of rasberry. The rasberry suggests that it might, at some point, in the life cycle, have been nice but it was not. Taste wise, it was spit-out flavoured.
It was like tuna...Pams tuna...I like tuna but not Pams tuna and not in a beer. Gross. Supposedly barrel aged in old pinot casks, why would you do that to an IPA?

Hey, I gather you are the current administrator for ratebeer in NZ? I have just launched a small brewing company, 8 Wired Brewing, and have the first beer, an american style brown ale, on tap at the Malthouse. It should be on the shelves in bottles before the new year. Although officially still un-named, it will be named "ReWired" in the bottles. Also coming soon is "HopWired", a big NZ IPA. Anyways, I was gonna ask if I need to do something to get my beer on ratebeer? Can I add them myself? Cheers!
