our club was formed in 1971
38 years ago
we have 2 foundation members left
we have about 23 members
3 of these members are fundrazers
we are almost the stongest club in nz
this is be-cause of our fund razing

i have just read the first letter yes there is a few mistakes in it
what about point for trying
a lot of people just sit back and let others do all the work and do nothing them self's
the question is are you one of these people

our club is taking a buss load of members to gisborne this year spending 4 days from the 1st - the 4th october and will be picking up members from hawks bay

I was wondering what the point of your post was? Are you trying to recruit more members? Are you trying to advertise a specific club event? Are you merely alerting us to your presence?

Seems that the national body ran or run a national competition .. http://www.realbeer.co.nz/homebrewers/competitions/ .. but I've never seen any mention of it on Realbeer

Hi Lyle
May I suggest you come down to the BrewNZ/Beervana week in late August and meet up with a few like minded people. We are most welcoming of people over a few beers - it's so much better in person - and would love to see some more like minded folk down here in Wellington that week... whether thay are from Blenheim, Wanganui, Gisborne or Calcutta.
I'm already thinking there should be a homebrew event that week... but I remember how it went down last time. Is anything happening on the SOBA front guys???? Greig???
