More Epic

I guess I should use this blog space for updating what is happening with Epic Beer.

The biggest news right now is the invitation to brew 100,000 pints of Epic Pale Ale at Everard's Brewery in Leicester for the JD Wetherspoons International Real Ale Festival. The brew days are 16th & 17th March. Press Release will follow soon.

The beer will be cask conditioned and dry hopped in cask and be available at the festival through the 700+ pub chain for the two weeks the festival runs - 15 April to 3 May

The other news is the release of Epic Mayhem, which hasn't been so smooth as there have been numerous delays with the printing of the label, but finally today the labels have been printed. They will go on the bottle tomorrow afternoon, and will be available in the market next week.

First outlet will be New World Te Rapa as I am doing a tasting there from 2.30pm to 5.30pm followed by a tasting of all three Epic beers (available on tap) at the Ruakura Campus Club.

On Saturday Mayhem will make a public appearance at the Kumeu Beer Wine and Food Festival
