A Restriction on Selling Single Bottles of Beer? WTF!

Not sure but does the law or condition they want to bring in have any reference to how the said beer is normally packaged?

I can understand stopping a off-license from selling a single bottle/can from a box of 12 but if bottles don't actually come in a box of 12?

I've got no idea on any of that Jason.  Maybe it's a big storm in a tea cup, who knows.  Just seems like the fun police are out in force again, purely to reduce liquor ban breaches...

I hate to be the one to stick up for them but...I think the big breweries you speak seem to be fighting this - says so in the article you linked to.  They are not always on the side of evil:-)

On the piece on the news they actually showed bottles of Emersons being taken off the shelf!  Probably something that SOBA needs to look at if our friends at the big breweries dont sort it out for us.
