NZ saaz renamed to "avoid any confusion". Does that mean someone was looking at placing restrictions on our hops being imported - or that NZ Hops thought they'd be better off with a more unique brand?

Very nice to see NZ hops in the new Sierra Nevada beer. Were NZ hops actively involved or was it purely some American's interest in NZ hops?

Hey Doug, thanks for the reply. Good news all around on the hop naming front. I definitely like the new approach.

On that note, any chance of getting a sample of Rakua? I'd be happy to be a guinea pig.
