About Me:
Funny as it may seem, I have always had an interest in beer, but it took me a few years to appreciate the finer beers that are available today. Since moving to NZ from the UK, I have missed my favourite tipples, so I decided I was going to try and recreate them over here. That was my inspiration, lets see where it takes me....tbc

OK, commissioned the kit on Sunday, reasonably successful. Just a few issues with my pump (which is a washing machine pump which collapsed a bearing). Anyway the brew was:
8.5kg Gladfield Ale
1kg Wheat
1kg Carared
80g Green bullet at start of the boil

30g Goldings for 40mins
10g Goldings for 20mins
I intend to dry hop with a few Goldings
Yeast from Wigram, but not sure which strain!

All bubbling nicely in the fermenter at 20deg.

Sorry mate, didn't see the question on my page there. Tempmate is kept outside the fridge.

Hey buddy...Beervana meetup sounds good. Looks like we are planning on visiting the cake tin Saturday night to see Canterbury get the shield No doubt you are more than welcome to chum us along.

I need to have another brewday soon as my keg freezer is running dry..I would love to pick your brains on your setup which still gives me green evils..Looks totally fab and I'm sure you are happy to spend hours helping me setup something similar :) I'm in NW CChurch - regents park..Where are you?

Hey Alelover,

Just had your CBM (think that's what was on the cap) wow mate what an awesome beer lovely hop aroma and a great malt taste with a hint of spices. So well balanced. As the beer warmed up a ginger aroma replaced the hops. What an awesome beer. I was disappointed when the glass was empty.

Thanks very much.
