If it's fermenting well & smelling good then sounds like mission accomplished, good news.
How'd the cooling and the transfer to the fermenter go ?
Now, the best thing to do is plan another recipe and brew again real soon.
Should be easier second time round and you'll want a good supply of beer once you crack this first batch !

Well what do you like, as opposed to what do you like the sound of ? You could waste a lifetime on the web.
If you threw some choc malt in there and dropped the hops a bit you'd have a good brown ale - if you like that sort of thing.

OK, ask on the recipe advice thread for thoughts on these two, if that's what you like - may as well brew something you know you like to drink eh ?

I use Liberty for grains and NZ Hops for hops, the local Hutt shop for dried yeast.
