What type of temp controller is that Dai?

It is a PID temperature controller (model BTC-9090). Very cool as it has 'fuzzy logic' so works out over time how much energy it needs to deliver to keep whatever you are monitoring at a given temperature- so you have less variation in the temperature overall. It just has a cheap theromcouple plugged into it and the other end is stuck to the side of the carboy- worked out that there is about a 1C difference between the temp of the liquid and the outside of the carboy. You just plug the belt heater into it. A guy at work made it up for me as it was just lying around collecting dust!
