I am currently starting up an international beer swap with the USA. I have two people, Chris and Shane from New Mexico who are investigating the american side of the operation, such as State and Federal Laws.
At this stage we are still planning, but we are interested in contributions from everyone.
As things develop they will be posted to this group. We are hoping that the future will lead to a chapter in each state.
looking forward to hearing from you all.
Cheers Paul

a whole hell of alot of annoyance copied the conversation, was about to post it, but i wanted neither the biggest post on the subject to be depressing nor a reformatted twitter conversation, if you are however interested in seeing it tell me your email, and i'll forward it to you, its not long basically the attorney saying its to much paperwork and fees to be of benefit
my non-Profit specialist says the idea is Wonderful and he's all for it, but as a professional in setting up Non-profit organizations he said getting a reliable attorney, whom is willing to go over step by step, of the process, of the fees who understands and agrees with your cause is the MOST important part of starting.
so i had to stop and think
i know what I want out of this Club, but what about you guys? if you are to join an international Beer Swap Club,
What Do YOU Want Out of it?
it wont be a free Club,
as members we will all have to put in some membership fees, how much would YOU be willing to pay, what kinds of Returns do you Expect.
what do you think is the best way to handle the membership fees and using that to pay for the shipping
do you think a tiered membership
(pay more get bonuses like Home delivery, pay less regional club house delivery)
Or a membership of only one amount so no member pays more or less than anyone else
How do you think Club houses would work best, someone (locally agreed) members house/Garage
Should there be some kind of Lot rented under club Financing (would increase membership fees Drastically Forcing only Very seriously interested people to join filtering out people who are just attempting to get free beer)
Iv never set up a Club, iv never even set up a lemon-aid stand so i know I'm leaving out a lot of important things, so lets pulls some stings and get this off the ground
because if by some miracle some attorney whom is Pro Bono happens to reply to the posts and questions iv been putting out there, happens to lend a hand, i need to know what the Members to communicate that.
