Back in the Malthouse this evening for a quick couple of pints before watching Star Trek - PKB from the tap and tasting pretty good (though I think a bit of time will help things a lot), and BYDTTP from the hand pump. Quite shocked by how much chocolate came out in the taste of BYDTTP. I know my taste buds are pretty shot from last night, but took me by surprise.

I wonder if it'll get time... we went through 140 litres of Porter on Tuesday night. Good work fellas. I know I felt it yesterday.

Am impressed you guys made it back for more. (Maybe jealous too). I noticed a HUGE amount of chocolate on the BYDTTP. The PKB was resinous and toasted coffee-like!! Am looking forward to it with a bit of age as well if it lasts that long. Didn't get to taste it on the hand pump as it ran out too early. Bugger.

Couldn't help myself so popped in today for a look at both beers. I imagined myself sitting alone, analysing them, enjoying the solitude. But I bumped into Roger Pink and Brian Thiel.
