The southernhomebrewers site seems to be down at the moment so we might have to organise the Dunedin case swap here.

Proposed dates so far are 19 March or some other time that gets suggested.  You will need to brew this weekend to make that date if you haven't already.

There might not be that many of us so you might not need a full crate full to participate.

who's in for the 19th?

who's on for later? (and when?)

Allright folks - the first Dunedin crate swap has been (mostly) a success!

We had 5 participants, meaning that we got 3x bottles of each kind not including our own brews. So while we didn't get enough people for a full 'mixed dozen' swap, having three beers of each kind will give us a good chance to really get to know those beers and try them out.

Beers entered are:

1. Foreign Extra Stout from Brett (Houli)

2. Dogfish Head 60 min IPA from Jared and Siem

3. Wakari Oatmeal Stout from Stewart

4. Pale Ale from Oliver (note: still bottle conditioning. Give it a week or so)

5. 2¢ coin Kiwi Pale Ale from Bart

I am really looking forward to trying these brews out! Just waiting for a mild cold to clear so that I can actually taste them properly. I will be posting some feedback on the brews here, you guys should do the same!

Will start up a thread for the next crate swap soon. Hopefully with a bit more lead time we can get some more participants next time!

Cheers,

Bart

Hey Bart

Missed this swap, but I have plenty of beer lying around here and would be keen to get involved with the Dunedin case swap round 2.

Will keep listening

Justin

Hey guys thanks for the crate swap, you all make some great beer! After tasting everyone's excellent brews I decided i'd have to try all grain, and just brewed an all grain stout this weekend so looking forward to the result! cheers for the inspiration everyone
