Anyone made a beer using the Rauchbier 4kg malt extract?

If so, how smoky was it, and how much did you use? I'll be doing a partial mash with the stuff once I get it.

I haven't, but it is my understanding that it is almost 100% (98% or so) smoked malt. depending on how smoky you like it you can use it for 100% of the malt bill. I'd guess that 90% smoked extract and 10% crystals would get you somewhere along the smokiness of The Bishop. mmmmmm:P

It took a bit of time to mature but in the end - wow! I quite liked it, the smoke is definitely there. I say go for it!
