Does anyone know whether the Lion pint bottles can be re-used for bottle conditioned home brew?

I've been given a whole lot, and they are quite a good size (quarts are a bit big most of the time).

Comparing them to the Emerson's 500mL (the nearest equivalent bottle I could find), the emerson's has thicker glass and is about 385g vs about 350g.  (For comparison, a standard stubbie is about 200g and the stronger 330ml bottles such as tuatara are 250g.)

So I'm just wondering if I can re-use them or whether I should throw them away and just buy more tuatara/emerson's/epic (etc) 500mL bottles, then drink them and re-use them.

forgot to add, the bottles I have are their normal ones, not the mac's ones (which have the customary ripple)

Give a few a go next brew, nothing to lose, except two pints, I brew in all manners of bottles, some dating as far back as 1940, to modern 330 Stoke, basically anything clean ahat takes a crown cap

Yeah - it will be fine. Might pay to get your carbonation correct, but thats true in all glass bottles.
