there seems to be a trend in the us to put oatmeal in pale ales

Crystal 60L: 7%
Oat Malt: 16%

there is a lot of this going on in the US ...   was going to rebrew Debbles pale ale, going to add some oats this time,  that keg holds the record for the shortest pour time ever....

yeh... I tried this a few years back. Good flavour... but cloudy. Now it is "on trend" I may have to brew again?

I have used a small amount of flaked barley in pilsners for body, I might have to try something like this though.
