NHC Results
Hi all,
Can anyone confirm they have received their results from the NHC yet? I'm a little concerned that I've spoken to several people who haven't, and they were posted on Saturday.

Yes my results arrived yesterday morning, nice work getting all the papers in order and packaged up. Much appreciated and liked the way the certs had the card with them for protection.

Results arrived safely, thanks! Most comments were useful. Some funny: the most surprise was a comment on taste for a late/dry hopped IPA with 50 IBU. "Taste: no malt no hops". I wonder what a monster beer the judge was tasting before that )

Mine arrived Wednesday. Honest and frank criticism - the best kind!
Thanks again to all involved with running the show.
Now .. what to do for next time by priority order -
1. Crack down on cleanliness - I'm shamed to say one of my bottles was infected
2. Sort out my system for lower and stable ferment temps - welcome a cheap chesty to the shed!
3. Treat water to reduce pH and bring down astringency (I'm sure I'm not hot or over sparging)
4. Change my brew house hosing to food grade, non PVC - reduce the chance of solvent/plastic flavours.
Part of my problem is that my palate has a way to go so I couldn't pick some of the flaws.
So sitting down with a bottle alongside its judging sheet and retasting with opened eyes (tastebuds) will be a useful exercise.
