I Really Need A Hop Spider Please!!!!

I had trouble finding big paint strainer bags but the hop sock from brew house works well.

People sometimes use a bit of plastic down pipe but I would take stainless over plastic any day if you can find the insinkerator fitting or something else suitable.

well done - I used the plastic but my boil is not in contact - paint strainer bags on trademe

Thanks mate, I felt I needed one, or just thought maybe just give it a go and see if it helps, the cost of new ones from shops are around $50+ so thought give it a go to build one can't be too tough, just lucky I found the stainless insinkerator part for the centre and only 5 bucks! It's fun building stuff like this i reckon gives you confidence to take on other projects, like when I gave wiring up my STC 1000, cause I needed one of those too. Cheers.

Yeah I totally agree with on the stainless over plastic, maybe I could try a plumbing shop?
