After reading many comments regarding trade marks and a certain style of Green Man Beer, which for legal reasons I will not mention. I would like to agree with everyone that styles of beers should not be able to be trade marked. Our problem is that we don't want to battle one of the big boys in court due to the crazy costs involved. I hope to be able to comment further on the subject next week after a board meeting of Green Man Brewery.

My go to Greenman beer is allways the "Strong" fuck i love that beer, bock aged in whiskey barrel blended with best bitter mmmmmm ;o)
always thought that was a strange combo...lager and an ale blend....must try it too
Trust me it works so well, and you can hardly call their whiskey bock a lager :oP lol, I tried it by itself and it was quite hard going, and didnt resemble a lager at all... Even tho its probably bottom fermented but.
As someone who owns a brewpub once said to me - "I love the fact that the big breweries tie up all the bars as it gives us less competition".
No help to the little breweries without a bar but it is food for thought.

Jeremy - is there anything anyone here can do?
Thanks for all your input guys its great to hear so much passion out there. I have to sit on my hands for a few days until I can voice the position of the brewery.

Regards Jeremy
First tried Green Man last year and loved it. Keep up the good work... I'll keep buying it.
