hi all
I'm after a grainmill, I have seen the hardys ones from allgrain are they the best options for price etc or what else should I be looking at. I wanna get one that's gonna last and don't really mind spending the money to get a decent one

any input is greatly appreciated

I don't think they are on trademe unless you can post a link to it? do you mind me asking how much it was?
There are ones that look the same as the allgrain ones on alixpress for about $140nzd landed
I'm still abit hesitant buying from us would rather support local where possible
That's from china. I'm all for supporting local business but not if the mark up is ott.
fair enough but at least I know if I am buying local and have problems the likelyhood of resolving it is greater than dealing with someone who can't even speak English. thanks anyway
Not to rain on any local retailers parade but the local ones are the same ones you'd be buying direct from China. Sure you get the consumer guarantees act 1 year protection, but you get pretty good buyer protection from aliex too.

go to allgrain, hes a top bloke, you'll probably even get a free hug. I dont think his markups are that high.

Then you can play with a lot sooner! (assuming your local)

It was a one off on trademe, aliexpress does money back guarantee, they mean it I saw them resend 30 stc1000 units because they sent 120v ones, By all means support local but aliexpress is very very good. By a us monster mill 1/2 inch shaft if you want to add a motor as it's easier to fit a big 300mm pulley to 1/2 inch shaft

+1 on the allgrain mill, put 15 kg through mine on the weekend, couple of battery changes on the dewalt (batteries are at the end of their life) but it does a good job, easy to adjust, hopper is not big but easily got the grain weighed and crushed while water was coming up to temp
