So, the new Gladfield Malts have been on the market for a while, and there haven't been many discussions of results, substitutions, etc. Maybe those of us using them can post some of our experiences?

I've been wanting to try out their malts for a while, but I'm scared as I have no experience. I was going to do an Irish Red Rye with Ale malt, 2% roast barley, then was interested in using the Redback and Rye malts.. this would leave it lacking in crystal but I'm not sure that would deviate from the style or not

So pretty much Gladiator is a good substitute for carapils??
