For sale - 85-90L kettle converted hot water cylinder $50

Just looking to recover the $50 I spent on this - if no-one here wants it, I'll stick it on trademe.  I understand that HWC have about $50 of scrap value which explains the pricing.

Bought from a friend (who out grew this) as I intended to get this running and use it but wound up sticking with my current converted hot water cylinder.  

You are buying a converted hot water cylinder where the hard work has been done.  It has been in use as a kettle, but the elements and valves have been removed.  To get this working, I think you will need

- two elements (or one with a plug for the other hole),

- two valves and associated piping (I think half inch, but don't quote me on that - I'm no expert)

- a good clean

and a chilling system - like an immersion chiller that will fit this.  Note that the geometry means that you can probably only run 40L+ of wort to cover the lower element... if it is important to someone I'll measure further.

Total volume around 85-90L estimated -- I never used this so never filled it to check.  

You could potentially run this with one element.  It is quite efficient as it is insulated.  Obviously, buyer needs to have electrical skills (or know somone to wire it up safely).
