I'm trying a barleywine for the first time and wanted some feedback on my recipe. My equipment setup is for a maximum 19 litres and BIAB. Here's the recipe:

Pale Malt 2.7kg

Crystal .8kg

Munich .35kg

Special .05kg

Light brown sugar .08kg

East Kent Goldings 45g/60min

Irish Moss .1 tsp/10min

Nottingham Danstar

90min boil

This is largely from an existing online recipe but I've modified it a little to experiment a bit. Really, I'd just appreciate some experienced opinion on this, tell me where I'm likely to go wrong, should I cut back on some of the bill, etc.

Cheers in advance!

Ben.

Whats your OG? Seems a little short in the malt dept for 19L.

Hi Chris, 19 litres is my maximum volume but I meant to say my actual boil size is going to be just shy of 12 litres, looking for a batch of 8 litres. OG is 1.112, final approx. 1.024.
