A Phase Change Cooler Anyone?

I hate when I'm loosing all the nice hot water in the drain when I'm cooling my wort with a counter flow chiller.

Have anyone tried to convert dehumidifier to wort cooler? A lots of phase change cooling is going on with geeks with PC's, but would it work with wort cooling too? Or is the heat difference too big?

Any HVAC people here?
